With a choice of wire or fibre core, our 6x36 galvanized steel wire rope is a great all rounder and can be purchased online in diameters up to 12mm; however we can supply up to 52mm diameters on request.
This popular abrasion and corrosion resistant wire rope is manufactured from quality galvanized steel and conforms to the necessary standards. It boasts high minimum breaking load strength and and great bend fatigue performance.
The basic rope in made up from just 6 individual strands, however it is the 36 separate wires within each strand which partly provides the ropes strength and flexibility.
The core of the rope provides the rest with the addition of more flexibility and shock absorbing properties if you opt for the fibre core. Ideal in lifting systems, cranes, construction and industrial applications.
With the wire core option its tensile strength is greater whilst also providing greater crush resistance. Its highly flexibly and provides great performance under high loads. Ideal for winching and pulley systems, cranes, hoists, slings and rigging.
